Thanks for the PR Disabled World. A great article! http://www.disabled-world.com/disability/investors/robotar.php#toggleMenu The latest and best version of RoboTar is working great and ready for showtime. This week I will do a 2 minute demo at a local Hardware Start-up Meetup and in 2 weeks I will bring the first customer his hardware and help him get setup (thanks for the support Dad!) :)
RoboTar's second owner is a gentleman in California who is looking forward to owning his RoboTar so he can play guitar again after a brain hemorrhage impaired his right side. His parts are on order and he should have his in hand hopefully by the end of February. Merry Christmas everyone! We appreciate all the support so far and hope you are with us for our Kickstarter csmpaign in 2014. The prototype is working great and the kids love it!!! Now we just need something to fix Kevin's singing. :)
RoboTar does Jingle Bells: http://youtu.be/jd7_tvkF_p8 Check out the article in the Marin Independent Journal With special mention of the RoboTar booth!! http://www.marinij.com/marinnews/ci_24097382/inventors-innovators-gamers-and-geeks-gather-at-first We're famous! RoboTar made a public debut at The Greenbrae, CA mini Maker Faire. Over 2000 people attended and there was a full and steady flow of interest at our booth. We gathered a list of people interested in our upcoming Kickstarter campaign and spoke to several key contacts including a gentleman employed with the Navy who suggested we contact him to learn more about how Robotar might help Injured veterans. Overall it was a successful debut and we were invited to attend 2 other events including the Clean Tech Expo and the Sonoma mini Makers Faire... Unfortunately they are both on the same weekend. We elected to attend the Clean Tech Expo and will be part of their maker Innovation section. Time to get started on Prototype #3!!! |
